Piotr Bosacki gave his talk at the newly renovated WRO Atelier — an off-gallery and a workshop space — where, as an extension of the WRO Art Center, the main theme is creative experimentation in direct contact with the public. The place has become an area of Bosacki’s latest project Music Graphs. During 4 weeks he has been working in the WRO Atelier on The Fourth Scroll, a new composition for 12 strings. On certain days the public could visit the artist, speak with him and see the evolving “Music Graphs” exhibition of sketches, graphs and scores created during his work.

For me, the process of building is always long, and when I create a construction, it always has 32 versions and different variants, which I then select.

The concept of Music Graphs was the starting point to the discussion about Piotr Bosacki’s other activities, his use of different media and genres, visual representation ofmusic and the performative nature of this project.
