In the interview, Daalder speaks about her performance Tribute to Karl Sims, in which she re-creates on stage the choreography of virtual cuboid creatures projected on the screen. The movements of the creatures are generated by genetic algorithms emulating human life processes. It’s the meeting of human being and artificial life.
I'm pushing myself in a direction I've never been before.
It’s a sort of need to evoke both for the machine and a human being.
