Pierre-Luc Vaillancourt presents the concept and activities of ICPCE, the Montreal based Institute for Exploratory Cinemas, focused on promotion and diffusion of various shapes of avant-garde cinema, video and digital art. ICPCE curates screening programmes of  works essential for the development of exploratory cinema and for the research of atypical cinematographic practices, presenting them in Canada and abroad, as well as publishing DVDs and books on the subterranean cinematographic art. Workshops, screenings and other events organized by ICPCE try to reinforce the dazzling force and revelation of the cinematograph of the origins.

So we support any form of marginal experimentation and exploration in film.
