Špela Petrič

Špela Petrič (1980), B.Sc., PhD was a post graduate student of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ljubljana, working with steroid transforming fungal enzymes. With a background in theater, her focus has shifted to performance and new media art, specifically bioart. The established yet controversial position of the scientist in society inspired her to produce work which uses (bio)technology for expressive playfulness, thus imposing an alternate perception of scientific methodology.

 Robertina Šebjanič

Robertina´s Šebjanič work is focused on the construction of imaginary worlds, searching for the relationship between real and irrational and is checking the borders of the viewer`s sensory perception. In her projects she explores various media such as video and ambient installations and more broadly conceived cross media / technology within the context of contemporary art practice.

The context for her ideas and concepts is often realized in collaboration with other authors, and thus through interdisciplinary and informal integration embodies in her work.
