An interview with Nikola Uzunovski during his Alien workshop at Sonica Festival. Nikola Uzunovski is a Macedonian visual artist and architect. Uzunovski’s work focuses on the conceptual and empirical analysis of natural and perceptible phenomena, paying great attention to the relationship established between subjects and their environment. During Sonica Festival 2016 he created Alien, a sci-fi sculpture that draws its inspiration from socrealistic moments of our not too distant past.

Bayle is a French multidisciplinary independent artist, who merges visual art, music composition, physical approach of sound art and data visualization by creating advanced programmed installations and audio/visual live performances. He tries to address the question of disrupted continuum, interferences and representation of concepts by using physics of sound and error/artifact magnification.

Julien Bayle was one of 2016 Sonica Festival resident artists. He created the generative installation Fract for the Sonic Pavillion exhibition.

Bojana Petković is a media artist and designer based in Bremen, where she is a student of the MA program Digital Media at the Hochschule für Künste. She has collaborated with Independent Cultural Scene of Serbia in numerous projects as an author of many artistic-educational workshops for children and youth.

With her new interactive sound installation Swamp Orchestra, Bojana Petković creates a specific sound eco-system and explores the realms of the natural and the artificial. Swamp Orchestra was part of the Sonic Pavillion exhibition at Sonica Festival 2016.
