Among other things, he recently turned DJ. Daniel talks about his new DJ career, about music and the internet, about Depeche Mode and the Liars, about the turbulent times when MUTE records became an independent label again (after the split from EMI).
He also reveals his favorite song.
We talked to Daniel Miller at Sonar Festival 2012. Apart from his DJ set, he was also there to see the new Diamond Version, a new project by Alva Noto and Byetone released at MUTE records. It is the first release in a series of 12″ EP’s in collaboration with Raster Noton, to be concluded in an album released in 2013.
